Lawmakers interrogate two ministers of the Somali Government

Members of the Somali Federal Parliament have today on Tuesday interrogated two
ministers of the Somali government over the arrest of BBCsomali service’s
correspondent in Mogadishu and why Somali embassy in Italy rented, SONNA
confirmed.
Defense minister of the Somali Federal Government, H.E. Abdulhakim Haji Fiki who
was questioned about the arrest of Mohamed Ibrahim Adam, BBCSomali service’s
correspondent in Mogadishu has explained the reason for the members of the
Somali Federal Parliament at their session.
The defense minister said, “The journalist released a report on military court
that it had killed a man without lawyer that was untrue”.
He added that some officials from BBCSomali service came to the court and paid
an apology about that news and disproved then the journalist gain his freedom
back.
Deputy Premier and minister of foreign affairs, H.E. Fowsiyo Yusuf Haji was
interrogated about Somali embassy in Italy that was rented by foreigners, she
answered that cabinet discussed that issue last week and committee has been
nominated to tackle that.
Parliament session today ended in a good atmosphere.
