| The
brutalities of civil war in Somalia had taken away millions of lives of unarmed civilians
namely elderly, women and children. Civil war in this region had caused physical destruction of an entire civilization, famine, mental disorders and associated use of illicit drugs, increased spread of communicable diseases especially among children and elderly. Like in many regions of developing countries, the ego of being in control and purposeless hunger for power lies behind such evil acts of violence. It definitely contradicts the principal and practice of Islam implying peace. |
