Witnesses say, at least three people were killed and
more that number injured on Saturday in a heavy battle between the hard-line Al-shabab
militants and local residents in middle Shabelle region of southern Somalia.
Reports said, the fighting broke out overnight at Bulo-Hor village near to Adale
district in middle Shabelle region of Somalia after the islmaist militants of
Al-shabab attacked a house living a well-known woman.
Two local residents and a militant have been killed during the combat in the
area. Reliable sources confirmed to Shabelle Media that the area is tense after
heavily armed militants with pick-up trucks have reached at the area and began
launching house-to house operations that stopped locals from going their job
centers and farming fields.
Al-shabab has not made any comments about the combat so far.
